Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Santa Cruz

Services

Vista Center offers a full range of services to those who are blind and visually impaired including an intake evaluation with information and referral to other useful services, a Low Vision Clinic evaluation, training in daily living skills, training in orientation and mobility, in-home volunteer support and social activities. Vista Center also offers training and support groups for families and caregivers of its blind and visually impaired clients.

An area of particular focus for Vista Center is outreach to senior citizens who have lost vision later in life due to such conditions as glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration.
